About the Journal
International Journal of Sharia Studies is an international scholarly journal that focuses on multidisciplinary studies of Sharia, including Islamic law, Sharia-based economics and finance, Islamic politics, contemporary Islamic thought, as well as social and humanitarian issues from a Sharia perspective. The journal has held an ISSN since June 2023 and has been indexed in the Garba Rujukan Digital (GARUDA) since 2026, reflecting its commitment to enhancing the quality, visibility, and accessibility of scholarly publications in the field of Sharia studies.
The journal serves as an academic platform for researchers, scholars, and practitioners to discuss the dynamics of applying Sharia principles in global and contemporary contexts.
